The Management Committee will be running our "Go for Gold” fundraiser again this season.
The” Go for Gold” Club remains one of our two major fundraising events each year, and we are keen to continue it again this season.
To summarise the key elements of the fundraiser, which will apply this season:
- The total number of tickets will be a minimum of 125 tickets and hopefully as high as 150.
- The total ticket price will be $200.
- The Go for Gold Club will run over 20 weeks.
- There will be four weekly prizes and a fifth will be added if we can sell the 150 tickets.
Ticket holders will become Affiliate members of the Club and will therefore be given a complementary number in our weekly draw at the Club on Saturday Evenings (Ticket holders need to be present to be eligible for the weekly membership draw). We are hopeful that you will be willing to have a number again this season, and remind you that we are happy to accept payment by direct credit/automatic payment if it is easier. Bank account details are shown on the application form attached.
It is anticipated that the 2024 Fundraiser will have an initial draw on 13 April 2024, thus allowing some time for us to put the necessary effort into selling any remaining tickets. Of course, if you know of any person who would be interested in a number, we would appreciate it if you could let Wayne Turner (021 748144) know, and we will forward some information to that person.
